Welcome

Welcome to my website. This is where I store my portfolio and keep track of my life as learner and communicator.

Here are my posts, ideas and features about yoga, reiki, travel journalism, communication and storytelling.

Enjoy.

Panel 1

About me

I’m a yoga teacher, reiki healer, communicator and lifelong learner.

My specialties are smiling with all my body and limitless daydreaming. I speak Italian, English, French, a rusty German and I continue to posticipate the day when I will start studying Spanish properly. But I’ll do it.

I think laughing makes life easier and enthusiasm makes everything taste better. I’m waiting for teleportation to be invented, and in the meanwhile I’m pretty pleased with my legs.

Sound body sound mind, I’m vegan, I sit on my mat every morning and I treat myself – and everyone I meet – as a good friend would do. I believe everyone should be more conscious of his actions and I do my best to make the world a little bit better.

I love direct people, the sound of waves, ginger tea and hiking. I nourish myself with culture and with that feeling of connection that one finds by reading a book. And then another book, and another one. From my past, I would keep my quiet afternoons at the stone beach and my grandma’s apple pie.

I don’t like asking for help, long nails and mayo.

My strongest dream is a place, a community and a life from which I won’t need any holiday break. I couldn’t find it, so I decided to build it. It’s an ongoing open experiment full of passion, serendipity and with the best intentions. Follow my progress and come visit at www.yogacara.it.

Panel 2

What I do

Enthusiast and intuitive learner, I combine a background in journalism and comprehensive knowledge of new media, with a passion for traveling, yoga and nature. I am Yoga teacher (900h YA), I practice Reiki energy healing (Reiki II) and I develop communication and social projects.

I teach Raja Yoga and Hatha Yoga, following the tradition of Sri Yogendra, founder of The Yoga Institute (Mumbai). Yoga is most importantly philosophy and lifestyle, which I encourage to apply every day in order to maintain a balanced state of mind and a happy life.

I collaborate with a studio for which I develop heartfelt communication strategies and produce engaging content on yoga, meditation, healing and holistic wellbeing. Responsible, organised and flexible, I work well remotely and under deadlines, both in team and independently. Curious, passionate and open-minded, I see my professional and personal life as enriching journeys: every experience is a way to grow and get new competences.

Recently I founded the cultural holistic association Yogacara, promoting a healthy lifestyle, living in respect of nature and sharing the benefits of Yoga. At the moment I am giving Yoga classes in a few studios near Genova (Italy), planning some events and building a Yoga Retreat Centre in this area. More on my project at www.yogacara.it.

I’m looking for new opportunities, focusing on yoga, social change and travelling. Follow me on Linkedin and stay tuned.

Panel 3

My works

Here are collected the works I’m doing at the moment, along with some of the articles and reportages I’ve written in the past few years.

Limonatarap is my personal poetic blog, where I post my poems in Italian (sorry) and English, as well as some personal reflections.

The most recent news of what I am up to are published on Yogacara, the website of the nonprofit that I founded and which I am working at..

In section Latitudeslife are the reportages, travel insights, tips and travel news about various parts of the world. Everything is written in Italian, sorry.

In section London School of Journalism are some examples of the works I’ve written during my course at LSJ: mostly features, news and reviews about places based in London.

The section studentsofar is about the blog thought for young people living abroad – it was the origin of this website and my first approach to web writing. There are posts, some recipes (cooking tips for dummies) and funny pictures, just to make you smile.

Under websites I review some websites that I’ve created for friends and family, mostly as a happy volunteer and to practice new skills. It’s clear that I’m not a web designer, but they serve their purpose.

Finally, the section with my cultural projects: my digital exhibition and my online publication MoltiMedia.
